What Are the Benefits of Goat Milk Soap?

Commercial Soaps
Take a stroll down the soap aisle at you local supermarket and what do you see? A lot of brightly colored packages, and a huge variety of fresh smelling scents, each filled with a nice looking, uniform bar of soap. Only in many cases you would be fooled. Look closely at the labels. They may be titled body bar, beauty bar or moisturizing bar. By law they cannot be labeled soap, because of the process these commercial manufacturers use and by what is in (or left out) of the final product. A more descriptive name would be detergent. They do a wonderful job of removing dirt, but have no benefits, and in some cases are harmful to skin. Glycerin, a natural moisturizer and by product of the soap making process has been removed to be sold for it's value in the lotion, cosmetic, or makeup industry. This is one of the reasons these products can be sold so cheaply. What remains are harsh chemicals like petroleum or alcohol and detergents that can dry the skin (ever experience "tight" skin after using commercial soap?) or even irritate the skin of someone who has sensitivities. Skin is porous, and many unwanted chemicals that are applied to it end up being absorbed. With our bodies being exposed daily to harmful chemicals through our food, water, or air we breathe, wouldn't it be wise to avoid them as much as we can?
The Better Alternative
With our natural soap, you are getting a blend of oils such as palm oil, coconut oil, shea butter, rice bran oil and castor oil. All are very moisturizing, and with the added enhancement of goats milk, you get the benefit of vitamins and minerals that are great for your skin and will leave it silky smooth. Give it a try! You'll be glad you did.
